26 Mar Interview with Luke McGinty, Winner of the Aarhus Symposium Award 2016

Last year, Luke McGinty won the Aarhus Symposium Award with his outstanding essay on “The Influence of Digitalisation”. Luke was also rewarded with an exclusive spot in Leaders’ Forum with Jimmy Maymann, President at AOL Content & Consumer Brands, who proposed the challenge. We met with Luke right after Leaders’ Forum to hear about his experience. Here, he talked excitedly about how the exchange of ideas might have gone both ways:

“I would like to think we provided some ideas and suggestions that he [Jimmy Maymann, red.] will take into consideration in the future.”

01 Nov Is it problematic that the leaders of tomorrow do not believe in the future of the Danish economy?

At Aarhus Symposium Focus 2016, we asked the students if they believed that Denmark would be among the 10 richest countries in the world in 2050. Given the surprisingly equal vote distribution, Thomas Bernt Henriksen described the result as “profound growth pessimism”. Without a doubt, this was one of the key messages from the students to the leaders of today.
