03 Nov Bastian Emil Jørgensen – Winner of the Aarhus Symposium Award 2017!

Congratulations to Bastian Emil Jørgensen, BSc in Economics at University of Copenhagen, who contributed with the most inspiring and innovative essay for Aarhus Symposium Challenge 2017. Bastian was selected to engage in an exclusive session with Bjarne Corydon, Global Director at McKinsey Center for Government, whose challenge he addressed.
Bastian is rewarded with 10,000 DKK, a Mont Blanc Pen, and the Aarhus Symposium Award 2017.

In addition, we would like to congratulate the runner-up, Danna Zhang, who also contributed with a great essay for Aarhus Symposium Challenge 2017. She receives a 5,000 DKK gift card for SuitsYou.

02 Nov Practical Information for Aarhus Symposium 2017

Tomorrow, Aarhus Symposium 2017 will take place. We would like to make sure that you have all the necessary practical information for your participation.

All participants have received a QR-code in an e-mail prior to the event. This is your ticket, so please have it ready when you arrive, either printed or digital on your phone.

The event takes place in the M- and S-building at Campus Fuglesangs Allé, Aarhus BSS. The doors open at 11.00 at the main entrance of the S-building. We recommend you to be there early in order to avoid queues. Please note that the doors close at precisely 11.45. You will have the opportunity to leave your coat free of charge in the wardrobe. The event finishes after a light dinner and networking at 20.00.

01 Nov The Participants of Leaders’ Forum 2017 are Invited

Today, we are excited to congratulate the 13 participants of this year’s Leaders’ Forum!

The 13 students are invited to take part in an exclusive and intimate session with the leader whose Challenge Topic they addressed in their essay. This is a great opportunity to share their take on this year’s theme and hereby discuss their solutions in informal settings.

We wish you a truly inspiring day with thoughtful dialogues on November 3!

This question was posed to the participating students at Aarhus Symposium Focus 2017 both before and after the panel discussions. One clearly sees that many of the participants were influenced by the interesting insights that the four speakers offered throughout the event.

22 Oct Opening Speakers for Aarhus Symposium 2017

For Aarhus Symposium 2017, we have decided to embrace change. Therefore, we are excited to present that we will not only have one opening speaker, but three!

Together, Janina Kugel, Helle Valentin, and Bjarne Corydon will kick off this year’s Aarhus Symposium. They will elaborate on their reflections behind the challenges they have put forward in Aarhus Symposium Challenge concerning the theme “Leading Through Change”.
