01 Nov The Participants of Leaders’ Forum 2017 are Invited

Today, we are excited to congratulate the 13 participants of this year’s Leaders’ Forum!

The 13 students are invited to take part in an exclusive and intimate session with the leader whose Challenge Topic they addressed in their essay. This is a great opportunity to share their take on this year’s theme and hereby discuss their solutions in informal settings.

We wish you a truly inspiring day with thoughtful dialogues on November 3!

31 Oct The Most Pressing Challenge to the Open Danish Economy

In your opinion, what is the most pressing challenge to the open Danish economy?

This question was posed to the participating students at Aarhus Symposium Focus 2017 both before and after the panel discussions. One clearly sees that many of the participants were influenced by the interesting insights that the four speakers offered throughout the event.

10 Oct Jacob Gram Alsing – Speaker at Aarhus Symposium 2017

Sadly, Mikkel Borg Bjergsø has been prevented from attending Aarhus Symposium 2017, due to business-related matters.

Fortunately, Mikkeller will still be represented on November 3! We are happy to announce Jacob Gram Alsing, Chief Operating Officer at Mikkeller, as a speaker at Aarhus Symposium 2017. Alsing is not only responsible for the daily activities of the microbrewery, but also for promoting the Mikkeller brand to its increasingly global customer base. He has successfully accomplished this task in close cooperation with Founder and Owner Mikkel Borg Bjergsø; the company is widely acknowledged as one of the best microbreweries in the world. Drawing on his experience from a long career in the Royal Danish Army, Alsing believes that for leaders to succeed they must be willing to take risks – something Mikkeller does through extensive investments in innovation efforts.
