After attaining a medical degree, Ulrik Juul Christensen moved on to become a highly successful leader and entrepreneur In 2006, he co-founded Area9 Group which has been at the forefront of creating platforms for individualised learning ever since.
Having researched different facets of learning for more than 20 years, Area9 aims to give each user a personalised learning experience tailored to their individual needs. A collaboration between Area9 Learning and McGraw Hill to create an adaptive learning tool for higher education was so successful that in 2014, the American publisher purchased Area9 Learning for DKK 1.5 billion according to Borsen.
