AARHUS SYMPOSIUM CHALLENGE 2024
THREE CRUCIAL CHALLENGES
The Aarhus Symposium Challenge 2024 marked the starting point for students eager to engage with this year’s theme, “Building Resilience in an Interdependent World.” By submitting their thoughts on one of three challenges, students had the opportunity to secure a seat for Aarhus Symposium Friday and Aarhus Symposium Focus 2024. The twelve most inspiring submissions were invited to the exclusive Leaders’ Forum — an intimate session with the speaker behind their chosen challenge.

12 MOST INSPIRING ESSAYS
On the day of Aarhus Symposium 2024, the twelve students behind the most exceptional and thought-provoking essays were invited to participate in the exclusive Leaders’ Forum. In this intimate one-hour session, they had the unique opportunity to engage directly with one of the three speakers behind the Aarhus Symposium Challenge, diving deeper into the topics they had explored.
The winner of the Aarhus Symposium Award 2024 was Emma Lyager Kaspersen, whose essay examined how the workplace can evolve by fostering a deeper sense of purpose for employees — and how such a shift can empower businesses to unlock new avenues for growth and innovation.
Among the many compelling insights in her essay, one of the most striking arguments was the link between perceived meaningfulness at work and long-term profitability, highlighting how human-centered leadership can become a true competitive advantage.
