Christian Erfurt started his career while still in high school with the launch of his first start-up in the healthcare industry. Since then, he has been involved in several start-ups and served in different roles in networks and organisations to help young entrepreneurs. As a result, Christian Erfurt has developed a deep understanding of how teams of dedicated people can transform innovative ideas into viable businesses. He puts this knowledge into practice on a daily basis. As the CEO at Be My Eyes, he leads a tightly-knit team in a company whose very foundation is an idea which seeks to connect people.
BE MY EYES
Be My Eyes connects blind and visually impaired people with sighted people through their smartphones, thereby allowing sighted people to be the eyes of the visually impaired. Launched in 2015, the Be My Eyes community currently connects 1.5 million volunteers with more than 90,000 visually impaired users across 150 countries speaking 180 different languages.
