The winner of the Aarhus Symposium Award 2018 was Soraya Redondo Mezmizi, Master’s student in Law at Copenhagen University. Soraya calls for an increased focus on helping students develop soft skills. Soraya points out adaptive learning technology as a method to contribute to achieving this goal The essay secured Soraya a private session with Ulrik Juul Christensen, the Co-Founder & Executive Chairman of Area9 Group.

Christiansen, CEO, Lego Group; Afshan Khan, Regional Director, Europe & Central Asia, Unicef; and Ulrik Juul Christensen, Co-founder & Executive Chairman, Area9 Group. Each of them challenged students to write an essay about a specific topic relating to the theme of Aarhus Symposium 2018: “Creating Connections”.
